Biography Sally Elford is an established Brighton based illustrator and print maker with a passion for mid-century design and pattern. Like many artists, she is also inspired by the natural world; it is generally the British landscape and wildlife which provide this artist with an infinite source of inspiration. Though she has been known to venture onto more exotic subjects, Sally is influenced by the subtle colours and shifting character of each British season.
All her prints begin life on a computer which enables Sally to best create the defining crisp lines and silhouettes of her designs. Character and texture are added through the method of printing, resulting in a unique artwork inspired by the process itself.
